Let's take a look at a selection of these new offerings.

Sea Ray 310 Sundancer
All new for 1998, the 310 Sundancer was intended to be an express cruiser with something for everyone. The all fiberglass self-bailing cockpit has a wet bar, entertainment center, and wraparound seating for family and guests. An optional cockpit table also serves to create an over-sized sunpad with a filler cushion, and twin swim platforms are reached via a walk-through transom.
Down below, the mid-cabin sleeps two in a large double berth, while the forward V-berth sleeps two more in privacy. A curved settee doubles as a dining table, and the galley is fully equipped with electric stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The stand-up head has a VacuFlush toilet and shower. Standard power was a pair of MerCruiser 5.0L (220 HP).

Bayliner 3388 Command Bridge Motoryacht
With well-separated forward and midship staterooms, the 3388 provides maximum privacy and space. The bright salon has a comfortable settee and removable table at a height for viewing through the large windows, while the standard galley equipment includes a propane 3-burner stove with oven, dual-voltage refrigerator, and double sinks with pressure water.
The forward stateroom has a V-berth with generous storage, while the mid-cabin has another double berth as well as a hanging locker and vanity area with sink. The oversized cockpit has a spacious lounge area aft, with a wet bar and wrap-around seating that converts to a sunpad. Just forward under the radar arch are skipper and companion bench seats, and a fully equipped helm including VHF radio.
Below, the two stateroom arrangement provides maximum living space for two couples, with an island full-sized berth forward separated from the salon by an accordion door. The mid-cabin is also private, with twin berths that convert to a queen bed. Each cabin has hanging lockers and ample storage, while the forward cabin has a TV cabinet. Pro-Line 3250 Express Fisherman
Designed by Pro-Line's award-winning design team, this model was aimed at the sportfishing enthusiast who also wants comfort for cruising. The cockpit, at 75 square feet, is big enough for a whole tournament crew, and the 26-inch freeboard lets you fight the fish standing up. From the bait station with 50-gallon livewell to the large transom door, this cockpit is designed for serious fishermen.
The cabin, however, is both luxurious and spacious with a private forward berth and oversized mid-cabin berth. With six feet seven inches of headroom throughout, there is room for a family or two couples. Cruisers 3870 Esprit
Offering a departure from the traditional mid-cabin arrangement, the 3870 offers deluxe second cabin accommodations with a wide open layout. The mid-cabin has twin double berths that can be converted to a king-sized bed, and it also features a private head and changing area with full headroom. The forward stateroom has a queen-sized island berth, with access to a head compartment with separate shower stall.
The salon area has a dinette with crescent shaped seating that converts to a double berth, and the galley has all the amenities including a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, and two-burner electric stove. The cockpit has wrap-around rear seating, a built-in wet bar, and an optional extended swim platform to hold water toys. With the standard MerCruiser 7.4 gas inboards, the 3870 tops out at 36 MPH.

Silverton 351 Sedan Cruiser
The unique design of the 351, with Silverton's "SideWalk" stairs from the bridge to the foredeck, makes this boat easy to handle in all situations. From the flying bridge, the skipper and crew have direct access both to the foredeck and the cockpit for docking or anchoring.

Cabo 35 Express
Just as the original Cabo 35 stood out from the crowd when first introduced, the 35 Express is equally unusual for two things: first, a remarkably long standard equipment list and, second, a dedication to building absolutely the best express cruiser available. The cockpit is huge, with 81 square feet of fishing space, and an entire section of deck raises on hydraulic rams to provide great engine access. The helm is perfectly arranged to hold an array of electronics, and a lounge seat allows guests to enjoy the fishing under the shade of the Bimini top.
Belowdecks, there are three cabin layouts: one with an island berth forward and convertible settee aft, another with a forward convertible dinette and a separate two-bunk stateroom aft; and the last with an offset double berth forward and a convertible settee aft. The enclosed head includes a shower, and the L-shaped galley has undercounter refrigerator, microwave, and concealed cooktop. Power options include Caterpillar diesels and Crusader gas engines.

Mainship 31 Sedan Bridge
Combining the amenities of a larger yacht in an affordable package, this 31-footer has an oversized flying bridge reached by molded steps from the spacious cockpit. In addition, a unique fold-down walk through allows direct access to the foredeck from the bridge, providing safety during docking or anchoring.

Luhrs 320 Tournament
